Services
Charleston Radiologists offers review of chest radiographs or CT scans for the presence of occupational lung disease.
Our staff includes two of the four certified b-reader radiologists in the state of South Carolina with expertise in digital imaging, High Resolution CT (HRCT) and interstitial lung disease, and active NIOSH B reader certification.
Mandatory Certification
This certification is mandatory for physicians who classify chest radiographs for certain federal surveillance projects, such as the NIOSH Coal Workers’ X-ray Surveillance Program, the Asbestos Medical Surveillance Program, and industry-sponsored medical screening programs.
