Nicolas Mazal, MD

Nicolas James Mazal, MD, is a radiologist at Charleston Radiologists, PA. He joined the practice in 2018.  

Dr. Mazal completed his vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. He fulfilled his diagnostic radiology residency at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston, where he served as the radiology residency representative on the Quality & Safety Committee and the Cancer Committee. Dr. Mazal interned in internal medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa. 

Dr. Mazal earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He received his Bachelor of Science in biomedical science from Texas A&M University, where he graduated magna cum laude.  

Dr. Mazal is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Society of Interventional Radiologists, and the Radiological Society of North America and holds medical licenses to practice in South Carolina and Texas. He is an accomplished researcher with works published in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
